Scroll

Ivan Galaviz is a software engineer at Netflix, where he builds the digital asset systems that power marketing campaigns for titles worldwide. His work lives where distributed systems meet human craft — and occasionally, it leaves the atmosphere.

Before Netflix he was a senior engineer at Nubank (Clojure) and an engineer at Wizeline (Go, Python), helping platforms process hundreds of billions of events. He studied computer engineering in Guadalajara, and in 2024 an experiment he helped build flew to the International Space Station aboard SpaceX CRS-31.

02 — The Space Experiment

Something that left the atmosphere.

The uncommon part of an engineering career — an experiment flown to the International Space Station.
